Hi, my name is
I am a Software Developer dedicated to building sleek and intuitive user interfaces and experiences for the web. Currently, I am focused on learning and growing as much as I can as a Software Engineer.
Hey there! My name is Michael (Mike if you like) and I am a fullstack developer (frontend-heavy using the MERN stack) from Nigeria. I've had an interest in computers for as long as I can remember but for some reason, I so badly wanted to get into the field for 3 major reasons, brace yourself! Firstly, as a big fan of playing video games, I've always wanted to know how they work behind the scenes. Secondly, as silly as this might sound, seeing touch typists just looked really fascinating and "techy" to me especially in movies which brings me to my third reason, Felicity Smoak from the fictional series, Arrow. Something about the way she handled computers was really intriguing.
I started my web development journey in 2021 and ever since then I've been building and growing as a software engineer. I enjoy working on challenging tasks that will facilitate my learning and I've also built some cool projects too as you will come to see soon. Outside of coding, you'll find me reading, watching movies, exercising, chilling with family and friends and as you probably guessed, playing games etc.
I've worked with a considerable range of tools, libraries and frameworks throughout my learning experience and this has contributed significantly to my adaptability, problem solving-skills and effective project execution. Additionally, my learning drive has ensured that I stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Below are some of the tools I work with.
I believe the best way to learn a skill is by building. In each and every phase of my learning path, I've always made an effort to apply my newly found knowledge by building a project in order to solidify my understanding of the concept.
04. What's Next?
Currently, I'm on the lookout for some new opportunities and collaborations. If you have a project in mind and you like what you've seen so far or you just want to connect, feel free to send me a message!
